Girls Boarding Madrasa (JBT)

Bridging the Gap in Education

Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria (JBT) first opened it’s doors in March 2001. By the grace of Almighty Allah, over 1,000 female students have completed their 6 year higher Islamic studies (Alimiyyah Course).

Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria’s aim is to educate and empower future female scholars with the knowledge of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. This knowledge will inshAllah enable our young women to guide, advise and inspire the future Muslim Ummah to follow the beautiful teachings of Almighty Allah and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

At Jamiatul Banaat Tankaria, we make every effort to provide a nurturing environment where students excel in both Islamic and worldly knowledge. Students are inspired to follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad  (peace and blessings be upon him). We strongly believe that education is the shared responsibility of JBT, students, parents and the wider Muslim community. The staff and teachers at JBT play a crucial role in nurturing the students with moral values, personal integrity and ethical conduct consistent with Islamic teaching.

JBT is also a registered school with the Gujrat Education Department, and offers SSC & HSC level qualifications to its students. This includes English, Maths, Science and Computer Studies.

Annual Cost for running JBT

The annual running costs for JBT is currently 11,400,000 Indian Rupees equivalent to approximately £120,000.00
The annual fees per student is 15,000 rupees (on average this equates to £150.00 per student per year).
